Trey Anastasioand his band, Phish, are scheduled to perform live there in April.
The band announced on social media that they will be doing four shows from April 18–21 at the bulbous wonder. The ticket request window on Tickets.phish.com closes at 9 a.m. Pacific time on December 11. On December 15, general sales start at 10 a.m. Complete ticket information may be found at phish.com/tours/sphere-2024.
Guitarist and singer Trey Anastasio stated in a press release, “Since we learned about the Sphere and its possibilities, we’ve been dreaming up ways to bring our show to this breathtaking canvas.” “We’re thrilled to present this completely unique experience to Phish fans.”
“Every Phish show at Sphere will feature completely unique setlists AND visuals, making every show a truly once-in-a-lifetime audio-visual experience,” according to a press statement the venue distributed on Thursday morning. Although they signify the start of a new partnership between Phish and Sphere, these performances will be the only ones Phish does at the location in 2024.
Phish is just the second band to play the iconic amphitheater. In September 2023, U2 debuted at Sphere, bringing fans an entirely immersive experience with state-of-the-art technology, all in honor of the band’s highly anticipated 1991 album Achtung Baby and the groundbreaking Zoo TV Tour that followed it, which broke all previous records.
The ground-breaking Sphere has next generation driven by HoloPlot, which gives every seat in the Sphere crystal-clear, customised sound, providing viewers with the identical mix regardless of their position. The system has 167,000 independently amplified loudspeaker drivers and around 1,600 permanently placed and 300 movable HoloPlot X1 Matrix Array loudspeaker modules.
With 160,000 square feet of LEDs—four football fields’ worth—the arena offers an innovative, immersive experience. With 1.2 million LED pucks placed eight inches apart on a 580,000 square foot completely programmable LED façade, this is the biggest spherical arena in the world. With 48 separate LED diodes in each puck, each diode can show 256 million distinct coolers, resulting in a vibrant new landmark on the Las Vegas skyline.
