A $80 million Lotto Max jackpot that broke records was divided between two winning tickets, one from Quebec and one from Ontario, according to the OLG.
A lucky winner from Grey County, Ontario, and another lucky winner from Quebec took home $40 million each in Tuesday night’s historic draw.Due to the volume of tickets sold, OLG stated that the number of maxmillion prizes had reached 24.
In Ontario, four maxmillions tickets were sold. Four locations: Guelph, Whitby, Toronto, and OLG.ca for the fourth.
OLG also said that $100,000 worth of Encore tickets were sold in Toronto and on OLG.ca, in addition to a $1 million Encore prize that was sold in the Greater Sudbury Area. A $293,334.10 Lotto Max Second Prize ticket was sold in Peterborough County.
The Lotto Max prize will be worth $22 million on Friday.
